Hey everyone! Well, my workday is almost over:) I will be heading to NYC with my mom to meet my bestie May, her mom and her sister Ellen for a girls weekend. I am sure we will do some celebrating! Ellen’s 40th Birthday was the other day!!! Happy Birthday, Ellen can’t wait to celebrate!
Here is a picture of Ellen and us at her wedding in 1995. I was a junior bridesmaid!
I am on the right, May is in the middle and May’s cousin Maggie is all the way to the right!
Eats: Today’s lunch was a leftover turkey burger from last night on a whole wheat Arnold’s thin with mustard, laughing cow and pickles and a side salad with the rest of the veggies in our fridge. Sorry, Adam, I left you with basically no produce for the weekend (oops!)!!!
Perfect meal, very filling! I was super hungry too!!!

Jessica
Jessica:
Adam actually grew up in Boston, but his dad is from Kentucky. They are in he Falmouth area now.
I got all my pashminas in NYC…like 3 for 10….I have sooo many and they are sooo long and perfect!! Have fun shopping!!
Gotta love the 90s fashion! Why were florals so “in”? I remember wearing an ugly floral dress to my cousins wedding around that time. And I had floral hammer pants. Jealous much?
Love all the vacation pics, you are quite the little traveler!
Check out Red Bamboo on West 4th Street right off of 6th Ave (Avenue of the Americas). It is on the south side of the street, little hole in the wall restaurant, but it is the best vegan spot I’ve ever found! Don’t tell your friends that it is all vegan too (hopefully they won’t read this either)… try the sweet & sour chicken – BEST Sweet & Sour Chicken I’ve ever had in my life!
If you are up for the haggling and the hustling, head down to Chinatown from there for some great products for cheap…remember, don’t be afraid to walk away from a sale and tell them that you are going across the street for cheaper!
Give Ibelis or me a call if you get lost looking for Red Bamboo or need directions.
Hope you have lots of fun in NYC! It makes you realize how small Boston really is!
