Morning!!!! Hey everyone! How is your weekend going? Mine is good and relaxing so far, which is good, because next weekend I will be in NYC and I think it will be SUPER BUSY and SUPER FUN!
At 10am yesterday, I went to Body Pump with my bestie May and Melissa. It was their first time and I think they liked it a lot. I was hard for me when it came to lunges since my hamstrings were already sore from Thursday’s BP class. I was sweaty and tired when I left that class. Nothing like a great muscle toning class to make you feel physically exhausted. This morning my shoulders and chest are sore too, I guess I worked all my muscles HARD, and that makes me
.
When I got home from Body Pump, I had a handful of grapes before jumping in the shower.

Probably twice the amount pictured here. When I got out of the shower Adam and I decided to make it a “Lazy Day” It was DOWN POURING in Boston. On yucky days like that, I love snuggling on the couch with my boys! Here is my outfit, baggy sweats, but I thought I would take a picture for you guys anyways.

Gray Sweats (Victoria’s Secret PINK), White T (Taget). The t-shirt is actually maternity, I didn’t notice it until I got it home and looked at the tag. I was loving how long it is, now I know why it was so long. HAHAHA! I will honestly admit, this is not the only maternity shirt I own, I think I have like 5. I have a long torso, so when I see extra long tops, I get excited and never realize they are maternity until I get them home
Adam and I decided to order lunch. I got a small greek salad, I used my own dressing though, I don’t like creamy dressings.

and a small pizza with broccoli, spinach and artichoke hearts. It was very Green

I ate three small pieces. Adam and I spend the afternoon hanging around and catching up on our DVR. Around 3pm I had a serving of Kashi Cheddar Crackers.

and a Pom mock-tale (1/2 POM juice and 1/2 Seltzer).
It reminded me of preschool, crackers and juice for snack
About an hour later, I really wanted to bake something. I love baking on rainy cold days. I decided to make pumpkin dark chocolate chips cookies. Ok you guys this recipe is so easy you will seriously we like, “That’s it?!” when you read it. This makes like 50 cookies!!! But you can easily only make 25 by halving it. I always make a lot because when I bake I love to share.
Step 1: In a large mixing bowl add 1 cup of dark chocolate chips.

Step 2: Mix in two boxes of spice cake mix- you want to mix in all in really good so you spread the chips out all over so each cookie gets chips.

Step 3: Add two cans (15 oz.) of pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix but plain old pumpkin) and mix together. You will need some muscle, but it’s nothing you can’t handle.

Step 4: Spoon out small balls of dough onto a cookie sheets and sprinkle each ball with a little cinnamon and nutmeg.

Step 5: Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. THEN DEVOURER!!!

WOW! That was easy, huh? These are so good, the dark chocolate adds so much and the texture is chewy and reminds me more of a muffin and a crunchy cookie. Look at all the cookies I made!!!

That doesn’t include the dozen I brought to my parent’s house for my mom, dad and Papa.
Dinner was lunch leftovers, greek salad.

I really love feta, but honestly, look at the the left over feta from this salad, too much cheese!!!

and the rest of my Pizza.

It looks like a lot there, but that is a small salad plate. Around 8pm, my friend Jill came over and we watched TV and enjoyed some cookies and decaf.

(times 2)

While enjoying our dessert, we watched Secret Lives Of Women. Have you guys ever watched this show????? It is pretty interesting. If you get the chance to watch it, I recommend it! I got in bed around 11:30 and passed out!
This morning, I got up at 7:15 and was hungry. When I was in college, my college caf had a waffle maker and I loooooved to make a huge waffle and cover it with fresh whipped cream and maple syrup. Now I have the healthier version.

Two Kashi whole wheat waffles with vanilla greek yogurt, a little pure maple syrup and berries. The vanilla yogurt is a great substitution for the whipped cream the berries add a little sweetness too. I also had some coffee too!

In other News:
1. I got the following message from my sister-in-law this morning:
Got a bra that doesn’t fit, pinches, has a wire that stabs you, or is just plain ugly?
Got five dollars?
If so, you can help find a cure for breast cancer.
I have a friend who is raising $$ for breast cancer and trying to get into the Guinnis book of world records all at the same time! She has joined up with “Athena’s Cup” and will be heading to First Beach in Newport this January and hooking together 169,000 bras! This goal of this mission is to raise half a million dollars for Breast Cancer research.
So please open your drawer and your wallet and donate to this awesome cause. After the event, all the bra’s will be donated to women’s shelters.
The deadline for collection is December 20th.
If interested, please give me:
a bra (your old used ones… do not buy a new one!)
$5 (cash or check made out to Athena’s Cup)
I am donating 18 bras!!! When I lost my 30 lbs., I also lost 2 cup sizes. So I have no use for these bras that are far too big, I am in serious need of new ones, but don’t have the money right now

If you would like to donate too, shoot me an e-mail and we will figure something out!
2. I am thinking about doing a series of interviews with other Boston Healthy Living Bloggers on my Blog.
For Bloggers: Please let me know if you are interested in being interviewed and highlighted in these interviews
For Readers and Bloggers: Let me know what questions you think should be asked it can be about their blog (for example: Why did you start blogging) or about them personally (For example: How do you take your coffee). If you want to submit a question(s) shoot me an e-mail (foodfitnessfashion@gmail.com) or comment on this post.
Well, I am going to get ready for a run along the Charles River, see you later on!

The pizza looks yummy! I always ask for the feta on the side when I order Greek Salads. The amount they give you is insane.
I’d love to participate in your interview. Some questions I always wonder about other bloggers are: Why did you start your blog, what is your favorite blog, and what the heck do you think I should do with this mop of hair on my head?
Have a great run!
