Morning!!!! I hope your Thursday is off to a good start! It is a rainy, dreary day here in Boston.
Let’s begin with checking in on my back on track goals:
- Bed time last night: 10:45pm, I am getting closer, right?
- Out of bed 6:32 am (it counts), Adam even suggested a snooze, but I so no! I declined a hit of the snooze button…WHO AM I?!
- Adam and I had coffee together this morning
It really is a great start to the day. - I prepped for today last night…it made my life a whole lot easier this morning.
All in all, a success and it makes me a lot happier!
What to know who was not a fan of the get up by 6:30 rule?

This guy was begging me to get back in bed. The fact that I resisted Oscar’s beckoning is nothing short of a miracle!
This mornings breakfast was a bowl of extra special oats

Oats:
- 1/2 of a banana
- 1/2 a cup of oats
- 1 cup of water
Toppings:
- Honey Almond Butter
- Pumpkin
- Caramel Coffee Sauce (that I bought while apple picking)
All mixed in topped with a little cinnamon!

The Caramel Coffee sauce added a nice sweetness to my pumpkin oats. This could be very dangerous!!!!
I also had some pumpkin spice coffee that I bough yesterday! Adam and I both agreed that it was great. It has a mild pumpkin taste to it that was not overpowering at all. It was a refreshing change from our Sbux breakfast blend we usually drink. I think we will be drinking this pumpkin coffee everyday until it is gone.
Hi, my name is Ali and I am a pumpkin addict!
My outfit today:

Black dress (Anthropology), Gray Boots (Target).
I love that these boots are mainly flat, but have a small wedge. The color totally sold me last year when I bought them, they are super comfy too!

My favorite thing about this dress is the boat neck, that then scoops lower in the back. For some reason it makes me feel like a ballerina. Is that strange? Probably!

To add a little color I am wearing this bracelet on my right wrist (I make it a point to wear nothing on my left wrist ever- I like my engagement ring to stand alone…nothing can compete with her) .

In other news:
1. Looks like the Navy Blue Pumps are winning as the shoe of choice to go with my dress on Friday. To answer some questions that have been asked. I did wear the purple shoes to the Bridal shower and the length of the dress is to right above me knee. Question: If I wear the Navy blue, what to I wear on my legs? It is going to be chilly and we are rehearsing outside, it is an outdoor ceremony.
2. Amy’s Kitchen is running a slogan contest. After 22 years, they still don’t have a slogan. So they are running a contest for customers to come up with one for them. The winner will receive $500 worth of Amy’s products!!!! (OMG!!!) You have until 2/1/2010 to enter. Here is the entry form. I am hoping to come up with something clever. I love Amy’s and love $500 worth of free products even more!
3. I have registered to attend FitBloggin 2010. It a conference for bloggers that write about “fitness, wellness, good food and healthy lifestyle.” I am super excited to attend. It is taking place March 19-21 in Baltimore, MD. Adam and I reworked our budget a little so I would be able to attend…whatta guy
The schedule looks awesome, there are so many sessions I am interested in attending. If you are a blogger or even a reader interested in fitness, wellness, good food or a healthy lifestyle. Look into it!!!
Has anyone else already looked into it? Are any of you guys going???

I’m also attending FitBloggin 2010. Right now I don’t know anyone else going. Scary to go alone but I’m excited.
You know me!!!
(well sort of)
I have those grey boots! LOVE them. People always think they are like Steve Madden or something, and I’m like NOPE…Target…20 bucks
lol
I want to go to Fitbloggin. I might be able to swing it if I can share a hotel room with someone. Let me know if you’re interested.
The oats look amazing.
I never wear nylons and hardly ever wear tights. I’m willing to have frozen legs in the name of fashion
Melissa: I am rooming with Caitlin from Healthy Tipping Point. We may be looking for another (1 or 2) roommate(s). I will keep you updated!
